“It’s better together…”
We are delighted to announce that our school has become the first international school in Morocco to go into partnership with a leading British independent school, Reigate Grammar School. We have been working on this relationship for many months and are thrilled that we have found a school whose demonstrable commitment to academic excellence and the development of character and resilience – attributes honed over the school’s 350 year history - closely align with our own ambitions. We have been honoured by the welcome that Reigate Grammar School has given to us from the very start and the ways in which they have respected and appreciated our own progress since opening.Our partnership was announced on January 21st by the United Kingdom’s Minister for International Trade, Conor Burns, MP. We have very much appreciated the minister’s warm support for the project and that of his government department, as the United Kingdom looks to create new relationships in the post-Brexit era. We also benefit from the exceptional support from the British Embassy in Rabat under the energetic leadership of the Ambassador, His Excellency, Mr. Thomas Reilly.
Reigate Grammar School will begin working closely with us in a wide range of educational fields, including staff recruitment, alignment with British independent educational ethos, preparation for pupil admission to leading British universities, marketing and branding. This cooperation will bring benefits not only to our school in Casablanca but also to our planned new schools in Tangiers and Rabat.
It goes without saying that the opportunities now opened to both schools through this exceptional, indeed unique partnership, are rich and numerous. We share with our friends and partners at Reigate Grammar School a vision for the global reach of education and look forward to bringing this vision to reality together in North Africa in the years to come.
